The entryway installation created by a lighting designer is an ode to Navratri, largely celebrated culture in Ahmedabad, and across the country. ARK has skillfully explored the core value and added a localized design element. The admirable lighting installation with its forms and waves is inspired by the swirls of the flowy ghagra while women dance away to their favourite Navaratri songs. The Abla work is depicted by the lenses which will refract light and create unique illusions in the space. Two massive sculptures depicting the karigars that spend endless days creating intricate patterns on wood to stamp fabrics have created the beautiful final product. The Indian Peacock, the national bird of India, is a symbol of grace, joy, beauty and love. We have tried to incorporate similar features and a touch of our national bird in our design.
