Chandeliers have been around since the medieval period, perhaps, because of their striking resemblance to nature and oh to mention the undoubted, pious love of humans towards serene landscapes would be disparaging. As a person who adores creation in every sense, I believe that chandeliers are the true symbolisms of nature; the enchanting canopy representing clouds, the elemental bowls symbolizing water droplets or snow and the tentacles being the invisible string that ties them all, ensuring that no matter how far the drops wander, they will eventually evaporate back to where they belong-completing the water cycle.
However, I am not the only person who ties chandeliers to the mother nature. Tisva, a premium decorative and architectural lighting brand from the house of Usha International, has crafted two chandeliers: Glicina and Fugl resembling Earth and its marvellous creations. Glicina is a handcrafted, Bohemia crystal chandelier with delicate curves adding to the light’s luxe quotient. The gloss-like finish of this luminaire, the product harmoniously combines natural inspiration with luxury. To enhance the interior design language, the Glicina also has a sleek wall light which can be used to embellish the walls of the room with the chandelier, adding to the opulence of the space. Next, the royal Fugl collection seems as if it’s freshly plucked from nature. Inspired by gliding birds, the 9 curved edges and its glorious, levelled lighting provides just the perfect ambience and illumination. Crafted using the contemporary Mitshubishi Acrylic, this piece represents liquid lighting at its best. With a smooth surface that emits soft light along the edges, Fugl creates a slow-motion impression of gliding birds, spelling ultra-luxe.
