The DWELL Design Show, a curated design platform conceptualised by Kritika Goswamy Malik, Founder of House of December, takes place on April 24–25, 2026, at NSIC Exhibition Complex. The event brings together a refined selection of homegrown brands across lighting, textiles, furniture, art, and objects, offering a layered perspective on contemporary Indian design.
Positioned as a departure from traditional design fairs, the platform reframes design as an interconnected narrative rather than a display of standalone products. The show emphasises experiential engagement, encouraging visitors to explore the intent, craftsmanship, and stories behind each creation, while fostering a more mindful interaction with design.
At its core, DWELL Design Show reflects a growing shift towards conscious living, where spaces are shaped not only by aesthetics but by meaning, memory, and emotional resonance. The format encourages dialogue between makers and audiences, highlighting the evolving language of Indian design through a balance of craft and contemporary expression.
The 2026 edition features a curated lineup of participating brands, including Kasto Designs, Align by Mr Glass, Adore My Wall, Kesari Home, Illustrations by Rooh, Heritage & Now, Objects of Distinction, Purplepirateco by Deepti, Sukoon Living, F Six Homes, Bahrisons Luxe, and Vakr. In addition, the “Stories of the Hand” segment showcases artists such as A Clay Story, Bric A Brac, Clayzz, and Svetlana_kripak, each bringing material-driven and craft-led narratives to the platform.
Speaking about the initiative, Kritika Goswamy Malik says the show is conceived as “a space where design is felt, not just seen,” emphasising the importance of slowing down and engaging with the intention behind each piece. She adds that design becomes most powerful when it integrates seamlessly into everyday life, shaping lived experiences rather than standing apart from them.
DWELL Design Show is an initiative by House of December, a multidisciplinary design studio known for its context-driven and detail-oriented approach to interiors and styling. The platform extends the studio’s philosophy into a larger cultural framework, creating an ecosystem that connects designers, makers, and audiences through shared narratives, and will continue to foster dialogue and deeper engagement with contemporary design thinking in India.
