This contemporary yet classical home in Hyderabad, meticulously crafted by Uniworks Design Studio, is poised to redefine luxury living in the city
Designed by Juhi Jaiswal Chaubey of Uniworks Design Studio, this modern yet classical 4000 sq. ft. apartment located in Hyderabad, evinces a resplendent balance of timeless and contemporary elements. Centric to the design ideologies for this sprawling space were the preferences of the client Mr Sudheer, that developed over layers of dialogues and discussions to formulate the overall experience of the home.
The main inspiration behind the design of Mr. Sudheer’s Residence was to create a space that exuded luxury and grandeur while maintaining a sense of warmth and comfort. Sharing her views on the design inspiration, by Juhi Jaiswal Chaubey, CEO of Uniworks Design Studio says, “We drew inspiration from classical architectural elements combined with modern design principles to achieve this balance. The key vision was to achieve a perfect blend of grand classical aesthetics and ultra-modern utility, thus making it a truly contemporary living space. While designing Mr. Sudheer’s Residence, the design team at Uniworks Design Studio opted for high-quality materials that reflected the essence of luxury and sophistication. This included rich woods, such as Indian rosewood; and teak wood, for the furniture and cabinetry, complemented by luxurious fabrics like silk and velvet for upholstery and drapery. “Additionally, we incorporated marble and granite for flooring and countertops, adding a touch of elegance to the space. These material choices contribute to the overall aesthetic by enhancing the luxurious ambiance and ensuring durability and longevity”, adds, Juhi.
Ushered through the pristine living room, one is welcomed into an effervescent oasis of comfort and opulence. Step into the opulent drawing room adorned with exquisite furnishings sourced from the finest vendors. The TV unit in the drawing room, crafted with marble back panelling adorned with intricate brass strips, is a testament to timeless elegance, sourced from Vedic. Complementing this is the glass bottom unit, fitted with luxurious brass hardware from Kohler and Value line. Juhi informs, “The center table steals the spotlight, boasting a unique marble accent piece, while plush accent chairs invite relaxation. A focal point of sophistication, the wooden accent fan from Fanzard adds a touch of grandeur, while the flooring, adorned with a classic premium fabric rug, exudes comfort and luxury.” The dining table, a fusion of marble and wood from Kohler and Value line, sets the stage for lavish dining experiences. Illuminating the space is a captivating crystal chandelier, a dazzling creation from Luker and Remole, casting a luminous glow over the opulent showcase crafted from tinted glass with brass hardware.
As you traverse through the wooden and brass designer jali, masterfully crafted by Vedic, you’re greeted by the luxurious ambiance of the entryway leading to the Pooja room. The designer glass door, a creation from Kohler and Value line, beckons with its elegance. Within the sanctum of the Pooja room, a wooden bottom unit, meticulously sourced from Junckerwood, provides a foundation for spiritual reverence, while the imported white Ganesha idol emanates serenity. The custom brass bells, resonating with traditional charm, and the bespoke ceiling lighting create an aura of divine tranquillity.
Prepare to be enchanted by the master bedroom, where every detail exudes luxury and sophistication. The wooden flooring, sourced from Junckerwood, provides a sumptuous foundation, while the marble backing with accent side tables, a creation from Vedic, adds a touch of timeless elegance. The designer bed, a vision of opulence, envelops you in unparalleled comfort, while the handcrafted flora mural infuses the space with natural beauty. The bespoke wooden wardrobes, adorned with luxurious brass hardware from Hafele, offer ample storage, completing the epitome of luxury living.
Step into a realm of whimsical delight in the children’s bedroom, where playful luxury reigns supreme. “The designer bunk bed, a masterpiece from Ralph Lauren, combines functionality with style, while the vibrant colour schemes evoke a sense of joy and creativity. The study table, crafted with precision by Hafele, provides a dedicated space for learning and exploration, while the playful colour wardrobe, sourced from Junckerwood, offers storage with a touch of personality”, adds Juhi. The guest bedroom welcomes guests to a haven of comfort and sophistication, where every detail reflects refined luxury. The Murphy bed, a space-saving marvel offers versatility without compromising on style, while the soothing seating invites relaxation. The study area, furnished with bespoke pieces provides a serene space for work or reflection, ensuring guests feel pampered and indulged throughout their stay.
The home office exudes an air of executive luxury, designed to inspire productivity and creativity. Juhi says, “The office table, offers ample workspace, while the MD chair, sourced combines ergonomic design with opulent comfort. The visitor chairs, crafted with precision provide stylish seating for clients and collaborators, while the storage solutions ensure organization and efficiency in every task.” The heart of the home, the kitchen, is a celebration of culinary luxury and innovation. The onyx breakfast counter, a striking creation, serves as a focal point of elegance, while the dry and wet kitchen concept offers functionality without compromising on style. The latest chimney, ensures a pristine cooking environment, while the exquisite flooring adds a touch of warmth and sophistication to the space.
Step onto the balcony, where tranquillity meets luxury in perfect harmony. The swing, offers a serene spot for relaxation, while the lush artificial grass, adds a touch of natural beauty to the outdoor oasis. “Whether basking in the sunlight or stargazing under the moonlit sky, the balcony invites moments of serenity and indulgence amidst the bustling cityscape”, concludes Juhi.
