A Grand Stage for Modern Indulgence

Grandeur takes a darker, more theatrical turn at Belmarose. Envisioned by Arth Kumar, Founder and Principal Designer of Shreem Interior Designs, the Mumbai destination at Sahara Star brings together the romance of classical European architecture and the energy of contemporary nightlife. Conceived as an experience rather than simply a restaurant or nightclub, Belmarose balances opulence, drama and intimacy across a richly layered interior.

For Arth Kumar, Founder and Principal Designer of Shreem Interior Designs, Belmarose was never intended to be simply a restaurant or nightclub. It was conceived as an experience—dramatic, memorable and transportive from the moment guests enter. At Belmarose, Mumbai, dining and nightlife unfold within an atmosphere of old-world grandeur and contemporary drama. Envisioned by Shreem Interior Designs, the destination at Sahara Star draws on classical European architecture to create an immersive setting where every detail contributes to the mood.

Located on the sixth floor, the multi-cuisine restaurant and nightclub is defined by dramatic arches, fluted columns, intricate mouldings, sculptural details and richly ornamented ceilings. Warm amber lighting, deep red velvet, patterned upholstery and dark timber flooring lend the interiors an intimate yet opulent character.

Illuminated niches, classical sculptures, antique-inspired lamps and statement artworks punctuate the space, while a striking lion installation at the entrance creates an immediate sense of drama. Textured surfaces and foliage-inspired feature walls add softness and depth to the elaborate setting.

Conceived almost like a theatrical set, Belmarose allows each zone to reveal its own visual identity while remaining tied together by a palette of warm gold, burgundy, ivory and rich timber. As dinner gives way to the energy of the night, the interiors shift seamlessly from an intimate dining setting to a dramatic backdrop for nightlife, making the experience as memorable as the destination itself.
