FLY Cloud Reimagines the Acoustic Ceiling

Taking inspiration from the precision and lightness of flight, FLY Cloud by UniVicoustic transforms the conventional acoustic ceiling into a dynamic three-dimensional design element. Inspired by the geometry, balance and controlled movement of birds and gliders, each suspended panel features an angular, gently curved form that can be independently adjusted with a 360° swivel and up to 30° tilt.

Grouped together, the panels create a sculptural composition reminiscent of a flock suspended in motion. Beyond its visual appeal, FLY Cloud addresses a key challenge in open-plan environments, where glass, concrete and exposed ceilings can reflect sound, increasing reverberation and affecting speech clarity. Positioned directly at the ceiling plane, the system improves acoustic performance without introducing partitions or compromising spatial openness.

Each 40 mm-thick module measures 577 × 456 × 418 × 307 mm and can be configured in two-, four- or eight-unit arrangements on a shared rail platform. Magnetic Snap-Fit and Thread-Lock connection systems offer installation flexibility across different project requirements.

Adding another layer of customisation, UniVicoustic’s patented VMT technology enables logos, graphics, patterns and material-inspired finishes to be printed directly onto the acoustic surface, turning the ceiling into an expressive design plane.

Made with up to 60% recycled PET, FLY Cloud also carries independently verified carbon credentials and is Red List Free, formaldehyde-free and Low-VOC certified. Combining acoustic performance, adaptability and visual identity, the system brings a new dimension to overhead design.
