Haruma Unveils Reverie Collection, Where Sculptural Design Meets Contemporary Living

Luxury furniture brand Haruma has introduced Reverie, a new furniture collection that builds on the design language established with its Inception series. Blending sculptural aesthetics with functional versatility, the collection explores the relationship between materiality, form, and spatial experience while drawing inspiration from the brutalist visual narrative of the Dune universe.

Designed as a continuation of Haruma’s evolving philosophy, Reverie reinterprets familiar furniture typologies through bold geometries, tactile surfaces, and refined detailing. The collection balances solidity with lightness, creating statement pieces that are both visually striking and highly functional.

“At its core, the Reverie Collection is an exploration of balance—between weight and lightness, structure and fluidity, ornament and restraint. Each piece is conceived as both a functional object and a spatial intervention, designed to engage with its surroundings rather than simply occupy them,” says Parth Patel, Founder, Haruma.

The collection brings together an elegant palette of leather, wood, marble, brass, and fabric, with each material carefully selected to highlight its inherent qualities. Signature design elements, including ring motifs, capsule forms, and Carlo Scarpa-inspired joinery, create a cohesive visual identity across the collection while allowing every piece to express its own distinct character.

Among the highlights is the Dune Arc sofa, a modular seating system inspired by the fluid movement of shifting sand dunes. Its sculptural curves and dual-depth configuration are designed to accommodate both relaxed lounging and social interaction. The Glide swing, meanwhile, offers a contemporary interpretation of suspended seating with a minimalist structure that creates the illusion of effortless levitation.

The Desert Throne lounge chair stands out with its bold architectural form and vertically fluted surfaces that create dramatic plays of light and shadow. Complementing these statement pieces are the Terra Coffee Table, which combines wood, marble, and brass in a compact yet refined composition, and the Coarse Credenza, distinguished by capsule engravings and precision-crafted detailing inspired by the work of renowned Italian architect Carlo Scarpa.

The collection also includes Dune Drift, a bed that embraces restrained elegance through a finely crafted wooden headboard featuring intricate joinery and subtle architectural detailing.

Beyond its sculptural appeal, Reverie has been designed to respond to evolving lifestyles. Variations in scale, depth, proportion, and material articulation enable the furniture to transition seamlessly between formal and informal settings, offering flexibility without compromising on design integrity.

Founded by Mahesh Patel and Parth Patel, Haruma has established itself as a luxury furniture brand known for combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company offers a curated portfolio of tables, seating, lounges, consoles, and other furniture crafted for residential and commercial interiors. Its experience centre and corporate office serve as immersive spaces where architects, interior designers, and clients can explore the brand’s design philosophy and material innovation.

With Reverie, Haruma continues to expand its portfolio of design-led furniture, presenting a collection that merges craftsmanship, material richness, and architectural expression to create timeless pieces for contemporary living.
