With a design-first approach to control sound, Continuum is reshaping architectural acoustics. Co-Founders Nabeel Masaji and Vinit Kapadia discuss their vision and innovative solutions, and share why every space they design begins with sound in mind.
What is Continuum and its core Business? How do these product categories collectively address the evolving needs of architects and interior designers?
Continuum is more than an acoustic products brand—it is a design-driven solutions company dedicated to creating inspiring, high-performance spaces. Our name reflects two core values: continuous innovation and the lasting impact of our partnerships, products, and design solutions.
Our core business is the development of architectural acoustic solutions that seamlessly combine exceptional sound performance with aesthetics. We collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers to create environments that are not only visually compelling but also comfortable, functional, and engaging.

As today’s built environments become increasingly experience-driven, acoustics have emerged as a critical element of design. Whether it’s a workplace that enhances productivity, a hospitality space that encourages interaction, an auditorium requiring precise sound control, or a home theatre delivering immersive audio, effective acoustic design plays a significant role in shaping the user experience.
What distinguishes Continuum is our philosophy of “Form Meets Function.” We believe acoustic products should be celebrated as design features rather than concealed technical components. Through CNC-cut patterns, grooved surfaces, 3D textures, printed finishes, and bespoke architectural applications, our solutions enhance both acoustic performance and the visual identity of a space.

Our comprehensive range of acoustic wall and ceiling solutions enables designers to reduce echo and reverberation, improve speech clarity and occupant comfort, meet the acoustic performance requirements of modern workplaces and public environments, and elevate the overall aesthetic of every project.
As architects and interior designers increasingly prioritise wellness, sustainability, flexibility, and experiential design, Continuum’s product portfolio delivers solutions that are technically robust, visually distinctive, and adaptable to diverse architectural narratives. We believe every space has a story, and our role is to help bring that story to life through acoustic solutions that perform as beautifully as they look.
Customization is a key differentiator for Continuum. How do your products enable designers to achieve their creative vision without compromising on functionality, performance, or aesthetics?
Customization is at the heart of Continuum because every project has its own unique design narrative. We work closely with architects and interior designers to understand their creative vision and translate it into bespoke acoustic solutions that enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of a space.
Our acoustic panels offer exceptional design flexibility. They can be CNC-cut, grooved, embossed, moulded, printed, and customised into virtually any shape, pattern, or texture. This gives designers the freedom to create distinctive interiors while maintaining exceptional acoustic performance.

For us, customization extends far beyond appearance. It is about seamlessly integrating acoustic solutions into the architecture of a space so they become an intrinsic part of the overall design rather than an afterthought. Every solution is engineered to deliver outstanding sound absorption while complementing the project’s architectural language and design intent.
This approach empowers designers to push creative boundaries with confidence, achieving the perfect balance between aesthetics, functionality, and acoustic performance—where form and function exist in complete harmony.
With architects increasingly seeking products that combine design flexibility with long-term durability, how does Continuum ensure its product portfolio meets global quality standards?
At Continuum, quality is at the core of every product we create. Our acoustic panels are manufactured using a minimum of 60% recycled fibre and are tested to meet internationally recognised standards for acoustic performance (NRC), fire safety, and low VOC emissions, making them ideal for commercial and institutional spaces.

Our panels are also Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Certified and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Certified, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability, environmental transparency, and human health. Backed by a limited 24-month warranty, they offer lasting reliability and performance.
Innovation remains central to our philosophy. We continuously enhance our products, finishes, and manufacturing processes to keep pace with evolving design trends, sustainability goals, and advances in material technology. By combining certified quality, responsible materials, and continuous innovation, Continuum delivers acoustic solutions that are both high-performing and design-driven.
Looking ahead, are there any new product launches, international partnerships, or innovative solutions that Continuum plans to introduce to further strengthen its portfolio in India?
Innovation has always been at the heart of Continuum and will continue to shape our future. We are constantly exploring new materials, manufacturing technologies, and design possibilities to expand our portfolio and provide architects and interior designers with even greater creative freedom.

Over the coming months, we will introduce an expanded range of colours, textures, surface finishes, and next-generation acoustic solutions that respond to evolving architectural trends and the growing demand for flexible, high-performance interiors. Our focus extends beyond simply adding new products—we are committed to developing solutions that seamlessly integrate superior acoustic performance, sustainability, and design excellence.
At the same time, we continue to strengthen our relationships with leading international partners, enabling us to bring globally recognised innovations, materials, and best practices to the Indian market. These collaborations allow us to offer solutions that meet international standards while remaining relevant to local design aspirations and project requirements.
Looking ahead, our vision is to redefine how acoustic products are perceived—not as functional necessities, but as integral architectural elements that enhance the identity, comfort, and experience of every space. Through continuous innovation, sustainable design, and close collaboration with the design community, Continuum aims to remain at the forefront of architectural acoustic solutions in India.
What are the key products of Continuum Acoustics?
At Continuum, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of architectural acoustic solutions that seamlessly combine performance, aesthetics, and sustainability. Designed to meet the evolving needs of modern interiors, our products provide architects and interior designers with exceptional creative freedom while delivering outstanding acoustic performance.

Our core product range includes Polyester Fibre Acoustic Panels, available in over 80 colours, and our Felt Collection, offered in more than 30 contemporary shades. These are complemented by an extensive range of CNC-cut and grooved acoustic panels, 3D embossed wall panels, acoustic screens, desk dividers, baffles, sound clouds, suspended feature ceilings, and acoustic lighting solutions.
Every project is unique, which is why the majority of our solutions are custom-designed and manufactured to meet specific acoustic, functional, and aesthetic requirements. Whether enhancing speech clarity in workplaces, improving comfort in hospitality environments, creating inspiring educational spaces, or delivering immersive acoustic experiences in auditoriums and entertainment venues, Continuum’s solutions are engineered to elevate both the performance and visual identity of every space.
By combining innovative design, sustainable materials, and advanced manufacturing capabilities, Continuum empowers designers to transform acoustic challenges into striking architectural features that are as functional as they are beautiful.
Beyond Acoustics, Continuum also offers specialized solutions such as modular trap doors/Ceiling Access Panels, Furniture, Decorative and Task Lighting and Carpet Tiles. Which of these categories are seeing the strongest demand, and what trends are driving their adoption?

While acoustics remain our core expertise, our vision has always been to provide architects and interior designers with a comprehensive portfolio of design-led interior solutions. To achieve this, we have partnered with globally respected brands renowned for excellence in their respective categories. These include Pentaform for Modular Ceiling Access Panels, RIPPL Lighting for decorative and technical lighting, Shaw Contract for Carpet Tiles and Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring, Dotworkplace for bespoke workplace furniture, and Boss Design (UK) for premium furniture solutions.
Among these, Pentaform’s Modular Ceiling Access Panels are witnessing particularly strong demand. As buildings become increasingly service-intensive, architects require access solutions that integrate seamlessly with ceiling systems while providing easy access to concealed MEP services. Unlike conventional access panels that are prone to warping, bending, or inconsistent finishes, Pentaform’s precision-engineered aluminium panels feature powder-coated frames with moisture-resistant gypsum or customised inlay options, offering exceptional durability, ease of maintenance, and a clean, virtually invisible finish.

Lighting is another rapidly growing category, as it plays a pivotal role in defining the functionality, ambience, and identity of modern interiors. Through our partnership with RIPPL Lighting, we offer an extensive portfolio of decorative, architectural, and technical lighting solutions, along with bespoke fixtures tailored to each project’s design language. This enables lighting to become an integral architectural feature rather than merely a functional element.
In the flooring segment, Shaw Contract continues to experience strong demand across corporate workplaces, hospitality projects, healthcare, education, and institutional spaces. As one of the world’s leading flooring manufacturers, Shaw combines innovative design with its People Together, Planet Forever sustainability philosophy. Its Carpet Tiles offer outstanding design flexibility, while its premium LVT flooring is recognised globally for its durability, performance, and refined aesthetics, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic commercial environments.
Furniture is also experiencing significant growth as organisations increasingly prioritise employee wellbeing, collaboration, and flexible workplaces. Through Dotworkplace, we offer an extensive range of workplace furniture alongside fully customised solutions designed to meet the specific requirements of each project.

For clients seeking internationally acclaimed design and craftsmanship, we also represent Boss Design (UK), a globally recognised brand celebrated for its premium workplace furniture, timeless aesthetics, exceptional comfort, bespoke craftsmanship, and commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
Across all these categories, one trend is evident: architects and interior designers are seeking integrated solutions that combine customization, durability, sustainability, and exceptional design. By bringing together best-inclass global brands under one roof, Continuum offers a comprehensive portfolio that simplifies specification while enabling designers to create spaces that are functional, inspiring, and built to stand the test of time.
