About SIDCA
Society Interiors Design Competition & Awards (SIDCA) is the first-ever national-level design competition among the interior design and architecture institutes all over the country.
Launched in 2003, SIDCA has grown into the industry’s most awaited platform, celebrating 23 successful years of discovering, nurturing, and launching promising design talent.
With participation from nearly 1,000 architecture and design institutes across the country, SIDCA features competitions in Residential Design, Commercial Design, Product Design, and Visual Arts.
Judged by renowned architects, designers, and industry experts, the competition provides students with an exceptional platform to showcase their creativity, gain national recognition, interact with leading professionals, and prepare for successful careers in the design industry.
Winning students are honoured with prestigious medals, trophies, certificates, exciting prizes, and exclusive internship opportunities with leading architecture and design firms.
The event serves as a unique opportunity for students to interact with top professionals of the industry, gain from guidance of professional jury who nurture and bring forth their talents and showcase it to the industry.

How It Works
Competition Procedure
Please note that the format of the competition for the upcoming edition of SIDCA has now become online.
- The competition brief will be shared with students upon completing the registration process.
- The last date for registration is Dec 21, 2026. However, students are strongly encouraged to register as early as possible to receive the competition brief sooner, giving them ample time to work on their projects.
- After registering, students can immediately start working on their projects for submission.
- The drawings shall be drafted in AutoCAD to the scale of 1:25/ 1:50.
- 3D views can be prepared in any available software such as 3ds Max, Lumion, SketchUp etc.
- All queries/clarifications related to the project entry shall be submitted to societyinteriorsawards@gmail.com on or before 20th Dec, 2026. Queries will be answered only till 20th Dec, 2026.
- The last date for submitting the Projects online is 4th January 2027.
- The participating colleges shall be informed of the day, and date of the preliminary Zoom presentation, tentatively by the second or last week of January 2027.
- The colleges shall be informed about the qualified participants for the final round immediately after the preliminary Zoom Viva.
- The Zoom Viva of the final round of qualified entries shall be in early February 2027.
- The awards ceremony shall be held in Mumbai by the fourth week of February 2027.
- All presentation drawings shall be submitted online only by the participating colleges.
- No hard copies/ printouts of any kind of presentation drawings/ entries shall be required/ entertained.
- No models shall be required either.

Terms & Conditions
- Last date for Registration : 21st Dec 2026.
- Registration fees: ₹2500/- per student (Two Thousand Five Hundred Only)
- Students are requested to submit the registration fees for their team collectively.
- Payment once made will not be refunded.
- Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained after the final judging.
- The organizer reserves all rights to disqualify anyone who does not abide by the rules and regulations.
- Winning students will be notified through E-mails and will have to make their own travel & stay arrangements to attend the final Award ceremony to be held in Mumbai (tentatively Feb 2027)

SIDCA (Society Interiors & Design Competition & Awards) is a national platform that recognizes and celebrates outstanding student talent in Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, and Visual Arts through competitions, jury evaluations, and awards.
Students currently pursuing Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Visual Arts from recognized Colleges across India can participate.
You can register by filling out the online registration form available on the SIDCA website and completing the required submission process.
Depending on the competition category, both individual and team participation may be accepted. Commercial & Residential category — 4 members; Product Design — 2 members; Visual Arts — 1 member (minimum), 4 members (maximum).
No, only one member from each team will be filling the registration form. Once the other team members are confirmed, they can share the details via email.
The registration fee is Rs 2500 (including GST) per head. It’s mentioned on the registration page along with payment details.
Only one student needs to register and pay the initial registration fee for themselves. Once the group is confirmed, that student can email the details of the remaining members. The SIDCA team will then share payment QR codes/instructions, and each member can complete their individual participation fee payment.
Accepted formats and size limits will be specified in the competition brief shared with registered participants.
Winners receive trophies, certificates, medals, internship opportunity, media exposure, opportunities to connect with leading professionals.
