Designed by Rohit Bhoite of House of Design and Mickee Tuljapurkar La Panthera, seamlessly merges modern flair with old-world European charm, creating an inviting ambiance reminiscent of a chic European manor.

 This 100-seater vintage chic Modern European restaurant combines luxury and comfort, creating an inviting dining experience in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

Designed by Rohit Bhoite of House of Design the ambience is inspired by the chic living room in a European manor, La Panthera creates a unique aesthetic that feels both timeless and on-trend. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to merge modern flair with old-world European charm. The result is a contemporary restaurant that offers an inviting dining experience, blending luxury with comfort.

The interiors reflect the restaurant’s blend of modernity and European old-world charm, mirroring the timeless European classics on the menu. The design embraces contemporary culinary techniques with a focus on simple, refined cooking, allowing the ingredients to take center stage. Elegant plating and exceptional taste are the hallmarks of La Panthera, evoking a sense of nostalgia and comfort through a fusion of architectural and culinary memories from Europe.

The seating at La Panthera balances style, comfort, and functionality. High and low seating options and cozy nooks create a relaxed, informal vibe while maintaining an upscale feel. The seating is designed to be rearranged to accommodate different group sizes and needs, ensuring flexibility and comfort for all guests.

The entrance of La Panthera features a botanical-inspired commanding black door, making a bold statement. Upon entering, guests are greeted with an artful manifestation of the restaurant’s logo in gold leafing, serving as a focal point while they wait in the cozy reception area. The gold leafing adds a touch of glamour and reinforces La Panthera’s brand identity.

The restaurant’s coffered ceiling, a meticulous grid of white recessed decorative panels, adds visual interest and a sense of grandeur. Low-hanging brass and glass chandeliers, shaped like palm fronds, cast a warm glow over furnishings in hues of warm greens and yellows. Graceful arches, marble door frames, textured walls, and heavily draped velvet curtains add artistic nuances woven into the very fabric of the restaurant’s design.

“All furniture pieces in La Panthera were custom-made to ensure maximum comfort. A standout feature is a captivating 15-foot artwork commissioned by Za Works titled “The Beast Within,” which took two months to create and serves as the focal point at one end of the dining area.” Mickee Tuljapurkar, Owner of La Panthera. 

The lighting at La Panthera combines old-world charm with contemporary elegance. Low-hanging brass and glass chandeliers, shaped like palm fronds, provide a warm, inviting glow, enhancing the beauty of the furnishings in warm greens and yellows.

La Panthera is a testament to the thoughtful integration of design, cuisine, and ambiance. As Mickee Tuljapurkar, Owner of La Panthera, emphasizes, “When guests experience La Panthera, we want their souls to be more than satisfied. We hope the fine showcase of diverse European flavors will ensure guests find a new favorite each time they visit.”

Apart from the sumptuous décor, , the restaurant offers menu that begins with fresh, light, and flavorful cold tapas such as Stracciatella (poached pear, Kalamata olives, basil, crystal toast), Tiradito de Hamachi (pineapple Leche de Tigre, cucumber, coriander oil), Steak Tartare (capers, onion, truffle oil on crispy potato, parmesan cheese), and the signature La Panthera Carpaccio (thinly sliced BFF on crispy filo pastry, arugula, tarragon mayo, parmesan cheese).

Hot tapas options include Scamorza Arancini (with Arrabiata sauce and salad), Baked Brie (with caramelized onions, mushrooms, balsamic reduction, truffle oil, sourdough toast), Charred Octopus (pea puree, potatoes, paprika), Braised Pork (on sourdough pancake with scallions, crispy onions, chili oil), and Lobster Roll (herbs, celery, garlic butter, warm brioche bun).

Guests can also enjoy wood-fired Naples-style pizzas, with dough fermented for 48 hours for unique taste and texture. Options range from classics like Margherita and Pepperoni to signature pizzas like La Panthera (tomato sauce, burrata, Nduja pork sausage, basil) and Frutti di Mare (tomato sauce, mozzarella, prawns, calamari, hot sauce).

With its unique blend of modern and classic elements, La Panthera promises to be a gastronomic sensation in Mumbai, offering a dining experience that is both luxurious and comfortable.
