Spread across an area of 7000 sq. ft. and Carpet area of 6000 sq. ft., the concept of the project revolves around modern luxury infused with artisanal heritage, creating an apartment that feels both globally sophisticated and deeply rooted in Indian craftsmanship. Sharing insights on the client’s the client’s brief and requirements, Parnika says, “The client envisioned a modern, luxurious apartment that balances youthful energy with refined elegance. Each space was to feel distinct, yet unified under a larger design narrative. The brief emphasized the need for every room to tell its own story— through a unique color palette, material mix, and layout—while maintaining a visual and experiential harmony across the home.”

Entertaining was a key priority, which is evident in the sleek, sculptural bar area with rich marble textures and statement lighting. The living area was designed to feel plush and welcoming, with layered lighting, soft textures, and organic forms creating a warm, conversational ambience. A major highlight is the lobby, where bespoke craftsmanship comes alive through the inlay flooring with brass detailing and the artisan-crafted ceiling, reflecting the client’s appreciation for Indian handwork. Overall, the project captures a contemporary global sensibility with rooted Indian artistry, resulting in a space that feels bespoke, vibrant, and timeless. “Each zone, from the sculptural bar to the layered living area, is treated as a curated experience with its own identity, while maintaining a cohesive design language through warm neutrals, sculptural lighting, and bespoke detailing”, shares Parnika. The 12-seater grand dinning with customised quirky chandelier from Klove Studios, adds elegance to the space. This space has 3 buffet counters to assist the clients while hosting a big gathering of guests. A green and brown colour palette of the entertainment room lends a gentlemen’s club vibe feel to this space with antique accessories and black & white family portrait adding a vintage vibe. The family lounge has a bold colour combination of green and brown, breaking the monotony and giving a bolder look to the space. She further informs, “The bi-fold collapsible doors in the formal area helps divide the dining to drawing when needed and also when opened shows the expanse of the space. The lobby acts as a cultural focal point, celebrating Indian artistry with intricate ceiling handwork by Jaipur artisans and handcrafted brass inlays in the floor. Lighting plays a transformative role, with dramatic chandeliers and ambient glow elevating the mood. The project’s core concept was to create a luxurious yet soulful space where every room tells a story”

The design process for this project was rooted in the idea of creating distinct, immersive experiences in every space while maintaining a cohesive design narrative. Each room was treated as a canvas to reflect a unique mood and function, carefully crafted through materials, colour, and storytelling elements. The soft pastel bedroom celebrates femininity and calm, with floral textures, curved forms, and elegant lighting accents. In contrast, the powder room is bold and dramatic, designed as an artistic statement with a Romanesque mosaic mural, vibrant red chandelier, and natural landscaping— blending luxury with gallery-like intrigue. The son’s bedroom with rugged unfinished walls created through textured paint and acrylic material walls. Meanwhile, the den takes a moody, vintage turn with deep green walls, classic tufted furniture, and a curated gallery wall, evoking an old-world charm. The process involved close collaboration with artisans, attention to lighting, and thoughtful layering of textures and finishes.

Overall the home is a cocoon of beauty and luxury. With a varied material and colour palette, The Garg Residence effortlessly fuses contemporary styles with Indian traditions along with a modern outlook.
