On November 8th, 2024, the Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Trades Association Ltd. (RATA) organized the VRF Mela 2.0 at Hotel Novotel, a significant event for the MSME sector in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. The Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID) Mumbai Team ID Ketan Sheth along with Ar. Prashant Sutaria, and other Committee Members Mr. Nikhil Shah & Mr. Janak Jangla & had the privilege of participating in a panel discussion focusing on the evolving Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry. It was inspiring to engage with experts from RATA Mumbai, exploring synergies between their fields, promoting collaboration, and advancing sustainable commercial solutions. The collaboration between RATA and IIID serves as a learning platform, offering valuable insights for architects, interior designers, and design students alike. It also contributes to promoting and developing ties with various organizations and government bodies, supporting the growth of the industry as a whole.
Celebrating Industry Excellence
On October 21st, 2024, the Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID) Mumbai Regional Chapter marked a historic milestone with the 25th Anniversary – Charter Day Night at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai. This memorable evening celebrated the growth, creativity, and collaboration that IIID Mumbai has fostered over the years. It was an opportunity to reflect on the journey of the IIID Mumbai Chapter, which has made a significant impact on the design community and continues to shape the industry. The event was graced by some of the most eminent architects and design leaders, including Ar. Prem Nath, Ar. Rohit Ganatra, Ar. Rajesh Patel, Ar. Bakir Baldi Wala, and Ar. Nitin Killa Wala, whose contributions to the field have been instrumental in the growth and success of the architectural and interior design industries. A special highlight of the evening was the recognition of the dedicated efforts of the active IIID Mumbai Chapter Team, whose tireless work made this event a grand success. Their commitment to advancing the design profession is a true reflection of IIID Mumbai’s vision of promoting creativity and excellence in design. In keeping with the theme of innovation and modernization, IIID MRC introduced a Digital Visiting Card for all members, an initiative that underscores the Chapter’s forward-thinking approach to digital transformation and networking in the design community. As IIID celebrated its 25 years of excellence, creativity, and collaboration, they look forward to many more years of progress, partnerships, and continued growth within the design and architectural sectors. From its humble beginnings in 1999 to becoming a leader in the field of interior design, the chapter continues to inspire and empower its members, while contributing to the advancement of the profession.
