About SIDCA
- Society Interiors Design Competition & Awards (SIDCA) is the first ever-national level design competition among the interior design and architecture institutes all over the country.
- This contest is first of its kind, conceptualized to provide a platform for encouraging future designers and upcoming talent.
- Instituted way back in the year 2003, the event completes 22 successful years and has grown to become the most awaited event of the industry.
- The competition celebrates excellence, rewards creativity & innovation in design and also prepares the students for bigger competition and for better future prospects.
- During its 22 years journey, the event has discovered and launched many promising names in the architecture & design business.
- Over the years, participation from architecture and design institutes across the country has grown manifold with nearly 1000 Interior Design and Architectural colleges participating from across the country.
- The competition is conducted in the following categories:- Residential Design, Commercial Design and Product Design.
- The competition is judged by a panel of esteemed professionals from the industry and their tremendous support has made this event a grand success.
- The event serves as a unique opportunity for students to interact with top professionals of the industry, gain from guidance of professional jury who nurture and bring forth their talents and showcase it to the industry.
- These students also have the privilege of sharing the same platform where senior architects and designers are felicitated. The platform is huge and learning is tremendous.
- Winners of Society Interiors Design Competition & Awards not only receive Certificates and Medals but also get a chance to intern with leading architecture and interior design firms of the country.
- Besides the students’ competition, the work of many young and promising Architects and Interior Designers are also recognized at the Awards. Also, many industry stalwarts & legends from all over the country are felicitated for their lifetime contribution to their respective fields.

Open for 2nd & 3rd year students of Architecture and Interior Design.

Jury
The jury shall consist of eminent senior architects, interior designers and academicians.
Competition procedure
Please note that the format of the competition for the upcoming edition of SIDCA has has now become online.
- The competition brief will be shared with students upon completing the registration process.
- The last date for registration is December 20, 2024.
However, students are strongly encouraged to register as early as possible to receive the competition brief sooner, giving them ample time to work on their projects. - After registering, students can immediately start working on their projects for submission.
- The drawings shall be drafted in AutoCAD to the scale of 1:25/ 1:50.
- 3D views can be prepared in any available software such as 3ds Max, Lumion, SketchUp etc.
- All queries/clarifications related to the project entry shall be submitted to societyinteriorsawards@gmail.com on or before 31st December, 2024. Queries will be answered only till 31st December 2024.
- The last date for submitting the Projects online is 15th January 2025.
- The participating colleges shall be informed of the day, and date of the preliminary Zoom presentation, tentatively by the second or third week of January 2025.
- The colleges shall be informed about the qualified participants for the final round immediately after the preliminary Zoom Viva.
- The Zoom Viva of the final round of qualified entries shall be in early February 2025.
- The awards ceremony shall be held in Mumbai by the second week of February 2025.
- All presentation drawings shall be submitted online only by the participating colleges.
- No hard copies/ printouts of any kind of presentation drawings/ entries shall be required/ entertained.
- No models shall be required either.

Last date for Registration is – 20th December 2024 (Students are urged to register early to get more time to work on their projects and not wait until the last date of registration) Last date for Competition Brief Related Queries – 31st December 2024 Last date for Project Submission – 15th January 2025 Zoom Viva of Qualified Entries – February 2025. Awards Ceremony at Mumbai – February 2025.

- Fill out the Registration form on the website after carefully reading the competition procedure and T&C.
- Also, download and print the form.
- Fill in the details on the printed form, include signature of the Principal/Director and college seal and the Registration Fee payment details. Email the scanned form to us on societyinteriorsawards@gmail.com

Terms & Conditions for participation
- Last date for Registration : 20th December 2024.
- Registration fees: ₹2500/- per student (Two Thousand Five hundred Only)
Students are requested to submit the registration fees for their team collectively. - Payment once made will not be refunded.
- Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained after the final judging.
- The organizer reserves all rights to disqualify anyone who does not abide by the rules and regulations.
- Winning students will be notified through E-mails and will have to make their own travel & stay arrangements to attend the final Award ceremony to be held in Mumbai (tentatively Feb 2025).
