Humanscale Wins iF Design Award 2025 for Float Mini and Trea Collection

Bangalore, April 2025 – Global workplace ergonomics leader Humanscale has won the iF Design Award 2025 for its innovative Float Mini sit/stand desk and the Trea chair collection. Selected from nearly 11,000 entries across 66 countries, both products were recognized in the Product – Office category for their exceptional functionality, design, and ergonomic performance.

The prestigious iF Design Award, organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH, is one of the world’s most respected and longstanding design competitions, marking over 70 years of celebrating excellence in design.

The Float Mini, a compact height-adjustable table powered by a pneumatic cylinder, offers seamless mobility and ergonomic comfort in both professional and home workspaces—without relying on a power source. Meanwhile, the Trea chair, designed in collaboration with Todd Bracher, delivers ergonomic support with a solid-state recline mechanism, mimicking the body’s natural movement with minimalist elegance.

“These awards reaffirm Humanscale’s leadership in sustainable, user-centered design,” said Sathish Nandagopal, Director of S Cube Ergonomics, Humanscale’s authorized India distributor. “We invite everyone to experience these award-winning products at our exclusive showrooms in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune, as well as at partner locations across India.”

Alastair Stubbs, Country Director, Humanscale India, added, “To be selected by a panel of 131 global design experts is a huge honour. Our products will be featured at the upcoming iF Design Exhibition in Berlin and showcased globally via iF’s digital platforms.”
